Internal Communication Lead

Location: Remote, UK.
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: 35 per week (part-time hours considered for the right candidate)
Contract type: Maternity Cover

We're looking for an experienced internal communications professional who understands the critical role effective communication plays in building an engaged, motivated and high-performing workforce.

What you will be doing

You will:

Ensure all internal communications programmes align with and support the strategic objectives of RNID

Lead on coordinating internal communications across RNID, owning, reviewing and implementing the Internal Communications Plan and advising colleagues at all levels on best practice

Liaise directly with the senior leadership team as a subject matter expert

Lead planning and delivery of our two in-person Summits each year with the support of the Summit Planning Group, responsible for all logistics and bookings and ensuring we have high-quality content at the events

Line manages the Staff Events and Communications Coordinator

You

You'll be a confident self-starter with the ability to lead projects from concept through to delivery, while building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.

You'll bring creativity, fresh ideas and a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for new ways to enhance employee engagement and communications. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you'll be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
