Summary
We are seeking an Night Site Manager to join our dynamic team at Bayleaf Facilities Management Ltd, to cover predominantly evening and night shifts across several of our sites within our hospitality division. In this role, you will oversee cleaning operations, ensuring that our high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction are consistently met. This position is vital for fostering team growth and maintaining our reputation for excellence. We're looking for someone with cleaning experience, ideally with a background in the hospitality sector, though this is not essential.
Responsibilities
- To always supervise a safe, effective, and efficient site and operations, whilst ensuring the client and all visitors have an enjoyable experience whilst on site.
- Cover absences where needed.
- Providing adequate training to site supervisors and cleaners, update staff records with HR & KAM.
- To assist the cleaning team to improving cleaning standards where needed.
- Ensure the site and the site's facilities are maintained to a high level of cleanliness and appearance to comply with the Company’s standards and the Health and Safety policy.
- Maintain effective and friendly working relationships with colleagues to promote a positive working environment.
- Ensure all team members comply with the Time and Attendance system.
- Check and report on cleaning equipment.
- Stoke check and order supplies with client in WhatsApp group and KAM.
- Be prepared to undertake all reasonable tasks required to ensure consistent running of the site.
- Carry out daily checks and complete cleaning schedules and daily handover report.
- Report any issues - i.e. cleaning, access, and any maintenance issue to Client on the WhatsApp group.
- Excellent understanding in COSHH and Risk Assessments
- Excellent understanding in RAMS
- Full understanding and management of the weekly rota operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the commercial cleaning industry is a must.
- Experience in the hospitality sector would be preferable, but this is not essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- A motivational and engaging leadership style
- The ability to work effectively with and support on-site teams
