Warehouse Team Leader

Normanton, West Yorkshire

Lead high performing warehouse & e commerce operations for a global FMCG leader.

ASR Group is the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, home to iconic brands like Tate & Lyle®, Lyle’s® and Whitworths®. We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Manager to take ownership of warehouse and e commerce operations at our Normanton site.

The Role

You’ll lead a team of around 10 colleagues, ensuring products move right first time, in full, while driving safety, cost, service and continuous improvement.

You'll have a chance to make a real impact as we make investments and improvements to the site, including an e-commerce system and as we grow the volume of products from the site.

Key responsibilities include:

End to end management of warehouse & e commerce operations
Ownership of Warehouse Management System performance, data accuracy & reporting
Delivering service, cost and inventory KPIs
Leading safety, quality, hygiene & environmental standards
Driving Lean / CI improvements and root cause problem solving
Managing budgets, suppliers, and OEMs
Coordinating inbound, outbound, transport & yard operations
Building an engaged, high performing team culture

What We’re Looking For

Proven warehouse leadership experience in FMCG / manufacturing
Strong people leadership with a coaching mindset
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, SAP and data led decision making
Solid understanding of health & safety and BRC / quality systems
Practical Lean / CI experience
Strong Excel and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to have:

Degree level qualification, formal Lean training, CAPEX delivery, or e commerce fulfilment experience.
