Dental Receptionist

Location: Leicester (LE3)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Monday 2 weeks

Are you a friendly, organised person who enjoys helping others and thrives in a busy environment? We'd love to hear from you!

We're looking for a full-time Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming team in Leicester (LE3). As the first person our patients see and speak to, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience from the moment they get in touch.

Whether you already have dental reception experience or have worked in a busy reception or customer service role, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same! Your role will include:

Welcoming patients with a warm and friendly smile
Answering telephone calls and helping patients with their enquiries
Booking and managing appointments
Taking payments and carrying out general administrative duties
Maintaining accurate patient records
Supporting the clinical team to help the practice run smoothly
Providing excellent customer service at every opportunity

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who:

Has previous reception experience (dental reception experience is desirable but not essential)
Is fluent in spoken and written English
Has an excellent telephone manner
Is friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people
Can stay calm, organised and efficient in a busy practice
Has great attention to detail
Is confident using computers and willing to learn new systems. Experience using SOE would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
Works well independently and as part of a supportive team
Has a positive attitude and is always willing to help

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
30-minute unpaid lunch break
One Saturday per month

Salary

Salary will be in line with the National Minimum Wage and will be discussed during the interview process.
