Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Operations Assistant to work closely with the CEO across a growing group of businesses.

This is not a typical office or administration role. You’ll gain hands-on experience across different areas of the business including operations, ecommerce, retail, wholesale, administration, AI, marketing, customer service, systems and business development.

Every day is different, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys learning, solving problems and taking on new challenges.

As the business grows, your responsibilities and opportunities will grow too.

Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day operations of the business.
Organise and maintain business records, documents and administration.
Help improve systems, processes and business efficiency.
Use AI tools and technology to support daily tasks.
Assist with ecommerce, retail, warehouse and operational activities when required.
Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers and business partners.
Support marketing, social media and business development.
Carry out research and help solve business problems.
Work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Take on increasing responsibility as the business grows.

Who We’re Looking For

Training will be provided, so previous office experience is not essential.

We’re looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career, grow with the business and become an important part of its future.

The ideal person will:

Be eager to learn and improve every day.
Enjoy working hard and stay calm under pressure.
Be able to think independently, solve problems and take initiative rather than simply waiting to be told what to do.
Be organised, reliable and responsible.
Have good communication skills.
Have basic computer skills and be comfortable learning new software.
Have experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, or be willing to learn.
Have a positive attitude and enjoy taking on new challenges.
