About the Role

We are a growing business based in Carshalton looking for an organised, reliable and capable Office & Operations Supervisor to join our team.

This is a varied position with responsibility for helping manage the day-to-day running of the office and supporting different areas of the business.

We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, comfortable taking responsibility and able to deal with different tasks and priorities throughout the day.

You don’t need experience in every area of the role. We’re more interested in finding someone with good general office and administrative experience, strong organisational skills and the ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

The role will include:

Managing general office administration and day-to-day tasks.
Responding to customer and business emails.
Managing customer returns, refunds and related administration.
Handling and following up courier claims for lost or damaged deliveries.
Processing invoices and assisting with bookkeeping and accounts administration.
Maintaining accurate records and business documentation.
Liaising with accountants, couriers, suppliers and other service providers.
Creating and updating product information and online listings.
Monitoring outstanding claims, refunds and account credits.
Helping organise and improve office systems and processes.
Dealing with general operational issues as they arise.
Supporting the directors with the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

About You

We would like to hear from you if you:

Have previous experience in office administration, office management, operations, supervision or a similar role.
Are organised and able to manage several tasks at once.
Have good computer and general IT skills.
Have good written and verbal communication skills.
Have strong attention to detail.
Are comfortable working independently and using your own initiative.
Are reliable, professional and willing to take responsibility.
Have a practical, problem-solving approach to work.

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be useful, but is not essential:

Retail, wholesale or online sales.
Amazon, eBay or other online platforms.
Bookkeeping or accounts administration.
Invoicing and reconciliation.
Customer service.
Dealing with couriers, suppliers or claims.

Training can be provided where required.

£30,000–£38,000 per year, depending on experience.
Full-time, permanent position.
Monday to Friday & Saturday Mornings.
