Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Freelance Healthcare Assessor specialising in City & Guilds Levels 3 & 4 to deliver high-quality assessments within the healthcare sector. This role offers flexible working arrangements, allowing assessors to operate independently while contributing to the professional development of learners. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with a passion for education and healthcare excellence. This position is paid and suitable for experienced professionals seeking freelance opportunities in the UK healthcare education landscape.

Duties

Conduct assessments for learners pursuing City & Guilds Levels 3 & 4 qualifications in healthcare-related disciplines.
Plan and organise assessment schedules in accordance with programme requirements and learner needs.
Provide constructive feedback to learners, supporting their ongoing development and understanding of healthcare practices.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress reports, and certification documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Communicate effectively with learners, training providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth assessment processes.
Stay updated on relevant qualification standards, industry developments, and best practices within healthcare education.
Utilise IT systems efficiently to record assessments, track progress, and generate reports as required.

Skills

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assessments simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide clear guidance and feedback to learners.
Proficiency in IT systems utilised within educational assessment environments.
Fluency in English is essential for effective communication and documentation purposes.
Experience or knowledge of plumbing or teaching within the healthcare sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to adapt assessment methods to meet individual learner needs while maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
