Overview

Join our dynamic team as an IT Support specialist and become the backbone of our technology operations! Duties

Deliver prompt and professional technical support to end-users via help desk tickets, phone, or in person, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Maintain and support computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
Configure and support network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and switches to ensure secure connectivity.
Assist with server management tasks involving Microsoft Windows Server environments and tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
Utilize ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira for tracking issues, documenting resolutions, and escalating complex problems when necessary.
Support remote access solutions and troubleshoot connectivity issues related to VPNs or firewall settings.
Collaborate with team members on projects involving software deployment using tools like BMC Remedy or SCCM.
Conduct analysis of recurring issues to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions for improved system stability.

Skills

Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP protocols.
Proficiency in desktop support for Windows (including Windows 10/11), macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Experience with Active Directory management for user account creation, permissions control, and group policies.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications for user support and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with server environments such as Microsoft Windows Server and Linux-based systems.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues related to computers, printers, routers, switches, and other peripherals.
Skilled in using remote support tools like SCCM or ServiceNow for efficient issue resolution.
Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical users while providing exceptional customer service.
Analysis skills to diagnose problems effectively and implement appropriate corrective actions promptly.
