Admin & Social Media Specialist (Work from Home)

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Hours: Part-Time (20 hours per week, with the opportunity for extra hours as the business grows)

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Location: Remote / Work from Home

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, and organised Admin & Social Media Specialist to support our growing business.

This is a flexible, remote role starting at 20 hours per week spread across Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with genuine opportunity for hours to increase as workload and operations expand. You will be responsible for handling day-to-day administration, maintaining our online presence, managing client communications, and keeping our basic office records up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Clear Communication: Answer incoming phone enquiries promptly and respond to emails with a professional, confident tone.
Social Media Management: Keep our social media channels active, engage with messages/comments, and help promote our services.
General & Accounts Administration: Assist with scheduling, managing incoming requests, updating invoice payment statuses in our software, and sending friendly, professional follow-ups regarding overdue accounts.
Out-of-Hours Support: Occasionally field brief customer phone calls outside of your standard hours (e.g. late afternoon/evenings), seamlessly banked and returned as paid Time Off in Lieu (TOIL).

What We Are Looking For

Confident Communicator: You are comfortable picking up the phone, building a quick rapport with clients, and handling sensitive conversations (such as payment reminders) with tact and professionalism.
Social Media Savvy: You know your way around standard platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and feel confident posting and interacting with customers.
Self-Starter: You enjoy working independently from home and can manage your time effectively on your set days.
Organised & Tech-Literate: Comfortable using basic admin software, digital calendars, and managing an inbox.

£13.00 per hour (20 hours guaranteed, with scope to increase hours as we grow).
Set Working Pattern: Dedicated shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Task-Based Flexibility: We care about results, not micromanagement. On days where your core admin tasks and social posts are wrapped up early, as long as you're nearby to answer incoming calls promptly, how you spend the rest of your set hours—whether that's relaxing at home or catching up on your own bits—is up to you!
Time Off in Lieu (TOIL): Any ad-hoc calls answered outside set hours are tracked and taken back as extra time off.
