About the role
The Regional Partnerships Manager role is dynamic and strategic, responsible for driving business growth and establishing Code Institute as a key player within local education and skills ecosystems. Deeply entrenched in the regional education ecosystem, working closely with FE Colleges, employers, and Government agencies to position our courses effectively and achieve business objectives. In this role, you will equally focus on new business development and account management.
Key responsibilities

Conduct thorough research on local market trends, skills requirements, and economic drivers within the assigned territory.

Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including FE Colleges, Institutes of Technology, Combined & Local Authorities, and Employers.

Establish and nurture relationships with partners that offer opportunities for Growth across the Code Institute training offer, which spans regulated qualification, bootcamps, and short courses for upskilling in emerging technologies including software development, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.

Ensure successful delivery and expansion of our product offerings within active partners through managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Institutes of Technology, Combined Authorities, Chambers of Commerce, and Local Enterprise Partnerships to support regional skills strategies and economic development plans.

Collaborate on initiatives that drive employer engagement to inform our course offerings and to provide career opportunities for our graduates.

Work with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings to meet local market demands, leveraging the company's status as an Ofsted-approved supplier.
Skill set and key attributes for the role

5 years of experience in business development within the education, training, or skills sector.

Candidates have to be based in the UK (North East of England).

Proven track record in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Experience with procurement and managing bids is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of the UK's Further Education sector, skills funding, and regional economic development.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including educators, employers, and government bodies.

Strategic thinker with the ability to align business objectives with market opportunities.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel regularly within the territory.

Successful candidates will be asked to provide references from previous employers.
