Specialising in street food including stone baked pizzas, hog roast, BBQ, loaded fries, burgers, hot dogs, grazing tables, ice-cream and desert platters the work is varied, fun, and sociable.

Job Role: Co-Ordinator
Location: The Beverley Barn and surrounding areas
Hours: Part Time
Hourly Rate: £13.70
Reporting to: The Cart Shed Manager

Job Description:
To be a successful candidate for the Co-ordinator role you must have exceptional organisational and communication skills. You will be expected to respond to client emails and telephone calls, host meetings to find out their specific requirements and catering numbers and then create a timeline and ordering documents for The Cart Shed Manager. You will be expected to capture on the day content for social media and be a strong leader who adheres to our high standards of service ensuring the team know what is expected. You will not be afraid to recommend and implement changes that are needed to make an improvement to the business.
The Co-Ordinator role entails:
- Ensuring staff know and understand their jobs roles for the day
- Preparing all equipment and packing the van
- Setting tasks for other members of the team
- File creation when a client has booked
- Creation of timelines
- Managing allergen requests
- Complete order forms for the chef
- Ensuring the pre-organised timeline goes according to plan
- Maintaining cleanliness and keeping temperature records
- Managing and updating the ‘on the day’ coordination file
- Managing and overseeing events on the day, including problem-solving
- Preparing seating, room layouts, table plans, and setting the tables with cutlery and crockery
- Ensuring checklists are completed
- Taking photos and videos for social media
- Checking and reporting damages
- Ensuring staff clock in and out
- Write thank you cards
- Check-in post event for evaluation and feedback
Parts of your work will require:
- Flexibility regarding your working hours, which will include weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Working during Holiday periods
- Willingness to participate in training days and courses
- Giving feedback to management
You should have at least 2 years hospitality experience in a bar, restaurant or hotel however training will be provided. You will be expected to help plan and participate in training days and courses. Please note all candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK and possess a strong level of written and spoken English and have a full driving license.
