Full job description

Overview
We are looking for a Technical Account Manager with strong knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud technologies to support customers using our EPOS and online ordering systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on understanding of tools such as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with practical exposure to AWS environments.

This role is customer-facing and requires someone who can act as the primary technical contact for customers, ensure customer websites and online ordering systems remain operational, and coordinate deployments and issue resolution with internal technical teams.

Duties

Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers
Communicate directly with customers regarding technical issues, deployments, and ongoing support
Ensure customer websites and EPOS online ordering systems are operational and generating orders successfully
Monitor live environments and respond quickly to outages or critical issues
Perform testing, validation, and deployment activities before production releases
Ensure deployments, cloud infrastructure, and services are running smoothly and reliably
Troubleshoot website, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues
Work closely with Development, DevOps, QA, and Support teams
Support CI/CD workflows and release management processes
Monitor system health, uptime, and performance
Escalate and track issues until full resolution
Maintain technical documentation and deployment records
Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Availability to work weekends or outside standard working hours when required for deployments or critical support issues

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer service with strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform is essential.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
Effective time management skills to priorities tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to build lasting client relationships through professional service delivery. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about cloud technology and customer success who thrive in a collaborative setting that values innovation and continuous learning.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must provide evidence of completing at least one cloud fundamentals certification from AWS or Azure.

Accepted certifications include:

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Certification proof or credential verification will be required during the hiring process.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience supporting EPOS, eCommerce, or online ordering platforms
Experience in customer-facing technical support or Technical Account Management
Exposure to monitoring tools, logging systems, and cloud operations
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is a plus

Pay: £35,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
