Salary: £35,844 - Subject to comparable skills and experience. Future progression is based on annual performance review.

Job Details:
We are seeking two epidemiologists with strong project management and analytical skills to contribute to the development of the research program for the ICR-Imperial Cancer Epidemiology & Prevention Unit. The job will include data collection, data management, statistical analyses and writing and submission of manuscripts. The project management activities will include developing website content and coordination of research activities such as grant applications, seminar series and conference workshops. Other research activities will include liaising internally and externally to identify best datasets and methodologies and presentation of research analyses at internal and external meetings.
Key Requirements
The successful candidates should hold a MSc or other higher degree in Epidemiology or a related analytical discipline and have knowledge of epidemiological and statistical methods in medical research. They should have experience with research project management and programming and data analysis in medical research. Experience in website design and content development is also desirable, but not essential. The skills required include the ability to work accurately, with a strong attention to detail and to work effectively as an individual and team member. Good communication skills including both written and oral are also required.
