As the largest hotel in the city, leading it you will be at the helm of a highly customer-centric team in one of the most commercially successful hotels within the portfolio. You will inspire an elite team, and be inspired to personally grow, whilst enjoying an unmatched work-life balance this part of the world offers, alongside all the perks of working for the world’s biggest hospitality brand.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic General Manager for the city's largest hotel, featuring 191 contemporary guest rooms and a destination restaurant Beira which prides itself on using the local produce, also a finalist of Scottish hotel awards 2026 in the best hotel restaurant category.

Our ideal candidate

A great leader, and team player, with a natural ability to motivate, a desire to nurture talent, and a genuine ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Commercially driven, with sound financial acumen, and a proven track record of delivering results
As comfortable on the “shop floor” as they are in the boardroom budgeting, forecasting, and auditing
An experienced, seasoned leader, with a substantial understanding of branded environment. Previous Marriott exposure a distinct advantage.
Creative, flexible, and up to date with the hospitality trends, offerings, and products
