Fox Precision Tooling designs and builds bespoke automation systems, robotic cells, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), conveyors, and special-purpose machinery for some of the world's leading manufacturers.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team and help build innovative automation solutions from concept through to installation.

What You'll Be Doing

Building bespoke automation machinery and robotic systems.
Assembly of precision mechanical components, conveyors, EOAT and machine structures.
Pneumatic system installation and testing.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
Working alongside design, controls and project engineers.
Assisting with machine testing, commissioning and customer FATs.
Occasional UK and international travel for installations and support.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Mechanical fitting or machinery assembly experience.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

Automation or special-purpose machinery experience.
Robotics experience.
Pneumatic assembly experience.
Electrical awareness.
Previous experience working within manufacturing or automation environments.
