Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager to support the effective operation of our organisation. This role involves assisting with daily management tasks, overseeing team performance, and ensuring that organisational standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in teaching or training, and the ability to motivate and guide staff members. Duties

Assist the Manager in coordinating daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow across departments
Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and training sessions, with a focus on teaching skills where applicable
Oversee team performance, providing feedback and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and service quality
Contribute to planning and organising programmes or activities aligned with organisational goals
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction
Support the organisation of schedules, meetings, and events as required
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies at all times
Step into managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Manager, making decisions as necessary

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a relevant sector
Strong background in teaching or training environments is highly desirable
Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams
Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Relevant qualifications or certifications related to education or management are advantageous
A commitment to professional development and continuous learning
