To deliver our Maths curriculum across Years 7-13, and to support the development of a rich and challenging curriculum. Alongside this, to contribute to the development of teaching and learning across the Maths team in alignment with the departmental and whole-school curriculum vision. Bobby Moore Academy is an all through school, providing a world-class education for the children of east London. About the Maths Department

At Bobby Moore Academy, scholars study an ambitious and academic knowledge-rich curriculum. Our KS3-4 curriculum is sequenced to ensure that all students master essential disciplinary and substantive knowledge for success at GCSE, A-level and into a future career in the STEM industries. The Maths department is well resourced, with an experienced and dedicated team of teachers and support staff who are passionate about our subject, and our students.

At KS4 our scholars follow the AQA GCSE Mathematics specification, and there is an option to study the AQA Level 2 Further Maths qualification. At KS5 our students follow the Edexcel A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics specifications.

Who we are looking for

Qualified Teacher Status with a good honours degree in a relevant subject and evidence of ongoing professional development

Excellent classroom practitioner with demonstrable experience of raising standards and experience of successful delivery of the Maths curriculum

Experience of working in high-performing contexts, helping scholars to overcome significant barriers to learning
