Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician / Electrical Improver to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Duties
- Assist in installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform electrical tasks efficiently and accurately
- Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with testing electrical systems to verify proper operation before completion of projects
- Follow instructions from senior electricians to complete assigned tasks within deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience working with electrical systems or relevant training in electrical installation and maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Previous electrical experience is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn on the job is important
- Ability to read technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals is advantageous
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces if required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
