 Loved my job when I first started but it went down hill very fast with the new management. Said higher management is awful. They give you no support, you voice your concerns and they fall on deaf ears or if they do get heard you get in trouble!! The lack of communication and organisation is another thing completely. There is none. This makes us look stupid when members of the club and the public complain when it’s something we are completely unaware of. The staffing is horrendous, no staff so everyone is doing everything with no help from the general manager as she’s unable to be contacted. You are called in on your days off and made to feel guilty when you are unable to work. You get no breaks, no staff perks, no thanks, NOTHING. I could go on forever. The only good thing about this place are your colleagues. AVOID!!

Managers hire gremlins and somehow where always under staffed. hours where not guaranteed and can go a couple of weeks even months on 1 shift a week. they have no trust in there staff and had no team building nights even tho they said they would really poor management . and they have high staff turn over and extremally unorganized. the pay started out good at 9.50 an hour and then went to 10.18 which was nice but it was still not enough for what they ask. you get a 10min break to eat your dinner on shift and that's it. questioned every shift when i went to the bathroom. I would recommend not working here the benefits of a 25% discount on food and 10% on drinks is point less because its all so expensive. 

From when I started there was a divide within the whole golf club, the management of the building and staff was not strong.
There was no job security and did not give you a chance to prove yourself.

They need to look at their staff members and get rid of the trouble makers, especially the ones who accuse innocent staff members! 

I loved my colleagues, they were class, the kitchen staff were also the best people to know. However, management was poor and that’s all that really can be said on the matter 

The staff here were a bit come and go but not so much as other hospitality roles. The work isn't excessively difficult even on the worst days and management will jump in to help. Pretty flexible and understanding with shifts etc.  

Definitely good in comparison to other hospitality roles I have worked at

working in the salon showed me what the working life would be like. Was great fun working in a salon for a week. I worked closely with a lot of customers making them tea and coffee and making sure that they were ok within the salon
