What is the best part of working at the company?
the People are the best part of working there, but like anywhere there are always a few that make life difficult

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Job expectation is riddiculous and they don't value their employees at all, they offer all sorts of wellbeing and mental health support options for a reason.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
environment is as you would expect from a modern office environment but the culture is very clicky as in if your face fits and you are prepared to do all hours on your managers demand to get them promoted you will do well, else you will struggle to fit in. They are very backward thinking company too having recently decided to stop home working even though all work there is in the cloud.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
My day was head down and hope to get through the work before the end of the day or expect to be there until 9 or 10 at night and possible weekends. For others it was chatting with their manager about the next round of golf.

My experience in the role was very interesting and I learned a lot.
As the role was during COVID, wfh and in a project environment, I cannot compare much. I have learned a lot during my time there. Beside 1 person everyone was very friendly and understanding.JPMC is very very very oriented on multi cultural and very very very very friendly towards anything with LGBTQ, vulnerable people etc and as a business a lot of meetings were towards this, where I respectfully think, there are time to talk about real work and business and we don't need on weekly basis to address constantly people doing their coming. It looks like 2023 is about talking of the 2% of the population who are having gender identity and in 2021,JPMC was already hyper on this topic during business meetings. As a bank and highly regulated, there are a lot of things that are a good excuse to be fire people. Training was good, experience overall was good. I recommend.

Started off as a great job with training and acadamey but the second you join into a new team there is no support, your penalised down to what codes you were on and why you were a minute late back from break. They tell you in training that they don’t care about after call work and codes but it’s a lie your manager sends you the statistics every week and again complains if your below 95%. I found that every customer call was to complain about the service of chase and that made days very long with constant complaints. The shifts are terrible also they don’t go come and go with you in terms of times. Met some amazing people and some managers in the workplace were more helpful than others, if only the place could hire more managers who actually care about their team and helping them  then it could potentially be a good job.

If you want to invest in yourself and drive a career forward then JPMorgan offers a brilliant organisation in which to do that. An easy life … no, challenging… yes, rewarding… yes. If you have the mindset to succeed then opportunities exist. I held six roles in over 25 years, across IT, Risk Management, Leadership and Projects. I never stopped learning and pushing myself and my teams forward. Managing your own career trajectory is key, especially dealing with global management and their expectations - time management is important and so is establishing a work life balance when the business is 24x7x365. 

Everyone I worked with were competent and professional. Workload distribution isn't always optimised, e.g. my team wasn't working to full capacity, while other teams were overstretched. Senior management are spread too thinly, as in most places.  Work culture is a little impersonal but that's expected from an invesment bank. Staff retention seems an issue and they stuggle to fill the roles (reason - paying peanuts but not wanting to hire monkeys). If you consider joining pay attention to the grade as it will indicate how senior your role is, your upper pay limit and also will drive the type and size of benefits that you will receive. Associate is a junior grade and then AVP, VP, Director, etc.

pper management has an antiquated views / plans for future. 
Employees are worked to the point of burn out with promotions always just out of reach (maybe next year…) Many colleagues have left the company for this reason as they are not willing to wait 5-7+ years for promotion while working harder every year. 
Pay / bonuses are subpar. 
Employee “perks” programs are offered, but employees mainly kept too busy to take advantage of them. 
Even if you have a great manger who is “in your corner”, often their hands are tied as to how much they can do to assist you advance. Have seen this now in multiple roles & across various lines of business within the company.

Overall a not bad place to work, the management mostly is a big disappointment, they don’t care about their team unless it’s someone they really like. Trying to get in touch with them if you’re not in office is impossible as they just ignore you. It depends who your manager is, some are very nice others are useless. The job is stressful as you are just sitting waiting on calls and if you do anything other than that you get people on your back questioning what you are doing and why. Before this bank launched there was freedom and a great place to work, it’s like a prison since.

It's a highly competitive environment and depending on the manager or area you are in you don't have a voice as they are looking only to protect or grow themselves.
No disagreement is welcomed.
People have opportunities based on bias from the managers and many times you see discrimination that is very hard to prove as it happens during conversations and even if someone hear or see it, they won't testify for fear of being punished.
The theory (Policies) says it shouldn't happen but it happens anyway.

Collaborative, forward thinking and great to move around different areas

To be part of the team and successful you have to work hard

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It depends on which area you work in. Client service is very pressurised as you would expect as service must be priority

Varied.  Some days can be very busy with no time to spare. Others can be less busy and allow time to consider extra projects.

Employee friendly culture, professional growth, numerous scopes of learning new things.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sometimes, need to work hard after office hours to be in sync with other team from different geographic location. Sometimes there is politics as well.

work environment is friendly and healthy. It possess a good team culture, management guys are approachable too.
