On the surface it appears a great company but unfortunately underneath it’s not, well it wasn’t a great experience for me anyway.  Felt there was no work life balance & was underpaid compared to similar roles. Staff benefits are okay and better than some companies which is a positive. You get the impression it’s a look out for number one type of culture. Awful office environment to work in with non existent team morale. Office extension recommended to ensure there is room for the egos in the office. A handful of friendly down the earth people but not many! If you laugh or like a giggle now and then I’m not sure the Springfield office is your cuppa tea.  It’s like a library where if you laugh they look at you like you’ve just shat in their cornflakes. 
Some newly qualified, overly confident people who lack the skills or intellect to carry out the job correctly. Suggestion to CEO- if you look at employing humble hard workers, your company will do better and be a better place overall as let’s face it, egotistical people are not in it for the right reasons. 


In my opinion Springfield specification and build quality are among the best of any mainstream builder in Scotland.

As a sales advisor, it's a pleasure to sell the homes whilst feeling confident that customer expectations will be exceeded at and after handover.

In Central Scotland there is a very positive and collaborative culture which is very enjoyable to be a part of.

I spent 3 years here working as a scaffolder, it's a rewarding workplace if you are willing to work hard. Cameraderie amongst most of the workers is good. Great support from HR and management. On the whole a good experience.

Used to be a good company but now PLC so 
Need more than their pound of flesh management 
Always changes planned at last minute bad run sites 
Won’t look at helping staff always ready to run them down

This was a good job with good rate of pay and it was local the managment were understanding. hte job was satisfying and fulfilling. it was a labouring job theres not much more to say.

Great company to work for. Look after their staff well and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Staff are always kept up to date and well informed of company performance and developments.
