What is the best part of working at the company?
Once you work at there, you won't able get in any casino at city central of London

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No staff food (only drinks, bread, and fruit) after COVID.

No bonus, no gift cards... yet they claim to be the most popular and profitable casino in the UK.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the room is full of men (90-130 people) with poor ventilation. After working for just one hour, the high CO2 levels can make you feel dizzy. However, they usually keep you on the table for two hours or more.
Unbalanced seats cause back pain.

Lazy managers fail to support a work environment that requires teamwork. They use rude language toward guests and colleagues and show favoritism toward female colleagues. During less busy periods, male colleagues are often assigned to work for 1.5-2 hours straight, while young female colleagues accompany the manager to chat, laugh, and walk around, only to take a break after 1.5 hours.

Working in a Casino is an insight into a world.  I would typically do 2 hour shifts from 7pm to 7am.  I would arrive and do a combination of security checks while being availbale to  assist in any conflict that might have arisen on the floor.  I learned to negotiate with extremely difficult clientele.    I also learned how to get an overview and manage an incredibly dynamic and busy environment while dealing with details.

The management was efficient and approachable.  I found they gave me a great balance of instruction, constructive feedback and freedom.

The hardest part of the job was the night hours and on occasion having ot safely physically restrain individuals who would not comply with house rules.

The best part of the job were the people.

My day can start at many different times depending on the shift i'm working, I work with a fun enthusiastic group of people, the managers are always there for you and try to help where they can.
I've learnt a lot as a cashier, including Anti Money Laundering (AML)
and Know Your Customer (KYC).

The hardest part of the job is not spending a lot of time with family due to opposing shift patterns. It can cause some friction at times.
Also the lack of advancement opportunities.

I do enjoy the challenges each day brings as each and every customer is as unpredictable as the numbers they're betting on, it puts your customer service skills to the test every day.

Not a very hard job to learn and do, meeting a lot of different people, working the exact hours on your shift and nothing to worry about once you leave the building, sometimes it is fun.


Management is not quite involved in staff's needs (Company's needs first), 

No social life due to constant rolling rotas (working  nights and days, holidays and weekends), it can get boring easily, it's an unimportant job for society

Good company to work for, if you're happy to stay in the same position with little career advancement , no further qualification or training provided for all the staff, only for the chosen ones, seems to be very biased.

I worked as a barback for a year and it was fun. The team is great but depends on the floor you work on. They’re flexible if it comes to rota and holidays.  The pay you well and you can save loads of money but don’t recommend on the long term.
The tips are always the same, no matter how hard you work. 

It's a pleasure to work in this company, but the gambling envirnment is a bit hard to deal with. I meet many people in this company, and i learned many things, specially when i was working as a recepcionist.  I speak 4 languages and i could improve my english and my skills. My colleagues are amazing, even supervisors and managers.

It felt too different from pre covid compared to after it.
Too many people lost the job through redundancy process and the level of work and attendance came back to normal or even more.
Shift were sometimes unbearable and no support offered whatsoever by the extremely demanding business administration.
