Great working hours, most of which happen to be 9am up till 6pm, although working nine hours a day would seem a struggle, work would generally be busy with tasks to be completed by the end of shift. Therefore staff would always be busy and not standing around. Having said that, staff were incredibly friendly, so in-between tasks, friendly conversations would take place making the work environment great.

When all tasks were completed, staff would not require to take more work upon themselves, having said that, many would. Having the freedom to be able to work close to other colleagues, kept all staff very happy with its management therefore keen to help the company when required.

Personally, I'd have to say working at Warrens Warehouse brilliant, not only from a working environment but also personal lifestyle. I have made very good friends from my employment there and would recommend the job for Warehouse seekers. Management were key to the Company's success by their firm yet friendly approach to employers.

The Management are very biased towards the longer serving driver. They get all the easy runs and looked after. If you mess up, or upset them your gone, but the favorites get away with murder. Very disorganised,  expect to sit on a bay waiting to be loaded at Bolton for hours as they are always short staffed in the warehouse. Trucks are old and all completed 1 million miles. Doors don't close properly , switches all broken, seats won't adjust. You defect them but as long as it drives they don't care. Job is easy if it all goes according to plan but it rarely does. Jmo

No best parts. Bad planing. Useless office staf. No office support. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Waiting 3-4 hours for trailer then received 15h run. Nobody care .

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressful environment, even they will insulting you.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Waiting for trailer,you never know what you can expect from the office. If you have issues on the road they will not response on your phone calls

Will work you daily above your contracted  hours. Massive cronyism culture, the chosen few or inner circle are paid the same but do nothing. High staff turnover and they wonder why. Avoid like the plague. Vehicles are over a million kilometres and show it. Night heaters don’t work, seats are original and shot. Still expected to do long stressful days with worn out equipment. Get rid of the management and share the work equally and it would improve slightly 

I enjoy my job in that I love driving. I am very much a people person which is proved with my colleagues and customers who are always pleased to see me.  At present my hours are consisting of nights  and days which results in not seeing my family much.  I would be looking to secure a job Monday to Friday with regular hours, however I am not adverse to doing the odd  weekend when needed.  I am a team member as well as managing myself.

I have enjoyed working here for many years, it is a friendly yet hard working environment to be part of. 

The job roll brings many challenges which enables me to learn new things end ensure I'm up to date with the changes in tenant law. 

It is a well run growing business. 

For me personally this job roll does not work well for me any more due to family commitments as I am unable to put in the work  hours needed.

I worked there for 9 months as a site manager Absolute rubbish company to work for. I went there with the intention of changing the warehouse environment. Which was starting to work. But the Operations manager does not want to listen to any ideas or suggestions you may have. Believe me I would not to Incourage anyone to work there.

Warrens, is a great place to work with friendly people, as long as you don’t mind working 12 hour shifts.  On a normal day or evening I’d first get to work and log on to the computer, see who hasn’t and has logged back in to the company and what trucks are still out.

Good work can be challenging, discount card on company products as a incentive, overtime rate when available, monthly meetings on company's progress. Training given in new roles, food hygiene certificate requirement, updated when required.

The interview was friendly and informative but as usual they sell you a brilliant job,but in reality it is just another undervalued underpaid job that you are expected to do,irrespective of the hours worked.
