Good if you can Progress
Arla is Good once you’ve passed operative Level, the first 2-3 years are horrible. As an operative you can walk 20-30 miles a Shift, pulling 500kg of milk in broken wheeled cages.

Incredible company for professional and personal growth
During my time at Arla I had the opportunity to get trained in different personal and professional aspects. Lots of coaching, mentoring and training courses that allowed me to reach a higher level. Typical day started with a flexible time to enter between 7 and 9 am to allow adaptation to your personal life style. The day was busy with lots of work and deliverables, and in my case quite some travel. Lunch was a nice buffet of warm meals, salads, and great catered food. The afternoon had its usual coffee time to talk to colleagues and discuss work. The management had a very personal approach to discuss work and your involvement in the company at many levels. Co-workers were friendly and supportive. The hardest part of the job was high priority deliverables and results that needed to be finalized at certain times during the year. I loved the balance of work and personal life the company allow employees and the great amount of resources they gave employees to perform at their best. Motivation and empowerment was a key aspect of management.

The HR and payroll departments fully incompetent
After several years working at Arla, I left the company to another job due to lack of opportunities to advance and lack of recognition. In this company there is no concrete path for carrier path development. Just you should be in some special circles to be recognized and progress in your field of expertise. The evaluation system is really biased and there is no way to go up ladder. Even being extra ordinary, you will be evaluated 6 out of 9! HR and Payroll systems are non professional in this company. I have really bad experience with them. Quite big lump of my holiday allowance and bonus were miscalculated and not paid for no reason. even with the agreement with my direct manager. As an expat and before you get permanent residency if you pay and join any unions, that is absolutely waste of money. So, if something happens to you as did to me, you don't have any chance to follow your rights.
ProsGreat Colleagues. Fantastic buildings and facilities. work private work balance is good
ConsNo clear carrier advancement program. Extremely bad HR and Payroll.

Good Company Rude Staff in the office
It’s good company to work for only if you are like them then you will get easy route and less delivery if you not be aware of applying with them. Office staff they are very Rude apart of few of it but mostly of them they not pick up your call and if they pick up they talk to you with no respect and do not give any help. It’s easy job but mostly of the staff make it worst and stressful. You can’t speak with the Transport Manager as they don’t want you to complain about them as he’s very helpful and good Person but as i said you won’t have chance to explain him situation. Every week missing hours on the payment and when you request help no one is available or they ignore you. They expect you to do every day 15 hour’s which is 14 or more drops. They don’t care about your weekly hour’s apart of the delivery. Lots lots and lots of bad things in this company anyway look for something different and don’t wast your time with them as they do not deserve good people to work for them.

ConsEn oklar ledningsstruktur

Ok Place to work
Depending on your goals and aspirations, this can be an alright place to work, do your job for the most part, and collect a check. There are too many levels to the organization in which they're too far removed from the process understanding how things were vs how they are now or may have no idea at all. Big investment opportunities take far to long and they rely on accounting numbers that don't always relay the process and what its capable of as well as not involving the right people from the start. Very departmentalized in a way where its a constant battle of who is being favored. I would say that there are some good people there that will help you grow and try to do what best for you but its at a minimal. Pay is pretty good for what you're expected to do along with really good benefits.
ProsGreat benefits, pretty good pay, work schedule flexibility.
ConsCulture, organizational levels, poor decision making

Good job environment
priority of the task's to complete with a time scale added to act as motivation ,with appropriate rest periods built in to help me stimulate for other tasks I establish a priority list of things to accomplish. Priority A, B and C. Priority A contains must do items. Things that will be more difficult if not prioritize first or substantially completed. I let nothing get in the way of starting and completing these. Priority B is very important, too. I make every attempt to complete these. However, priority B items can be somewhat negotiated if not completed. Priority C items are those maintenance things that should be done but won't affect operations much if not necessarily done that day. Sometimes priority C items take care of themselves. The important key to success is to accurately identify the proper category of priority. .Every Day I learn More .as team work

interesting and rewarding
I started Arla foods as a bulk farm tanker driver on farm collections at the Ashby dairy I also worked at burton inbound the hardest part of the job was getting out of the yard the rest of the shift was the most enjoyable job a person could do collecting milk from farms in the most rural and bleak of places that you wouldn't expect possible for a lorry get to it was a bit rough in winter but in the summer it was amazing I only left because from where I live it was a long commute to burton upon trent and I had a disagreement with a pillock in the office but the company itself is a 1st class company to work for and top pay I was proud to work for arla and I am glad that I have the fond memories of working for them
Prosgood pay easy work no stress
