Lack of Company Management and respect.
I have work here but it's not the agency (PER TEMPS) i have a problem with it's the company (GIST) the managers treat you like children, always look down at you because your an agency worker, even full timers have had enough with how managers treat them. I got sacked by Gist Managers because i had an opinion about how management treat you but Per Temps still found my another job. So my advice would be to stay away for GIST not Per Temps. The most enjoyable part of the GOING HOME.
ProsGot on with Full Timers
ConsGist Managers looking down on Agency workers

Pertemps have always treated me fairly in my time with them.
I am still employed with per temps but just on a saturday between the hours of 15.00 and 01.00 the job itself is the same job as i was doing for 20 years not as much responsibility as i used to have that is reflected in the salary i now earn, and decisions i am not required to make.
Customer Assistant | Crewe | 20 Apr 2015
Have worked at various places through Pertemps but speaking specifically about chocolate factory, the working hour were 9-5 with two short breaks and one lunch break. Many different people worked there whom I didn't know so I had to quickly bond in with them for which I had to have good communication and team skills. Many things that I learnt whilst working there. The attention to detail was very important as one little mistake end up causing damage worth hundreds of pounds and moreover treat every equally and do let anyone feel that they have been left out. With this experience it given me self-confidence when making decisions and interacting with other people. Management treated very well and gave orders in good manner and were well looked after with treats and bonuses. Hardest part of the job was to keep up in busy times. As orders started to coming at higher volume, the speed of work had to be picked up and keep up with. Most enjoyable part of the job was interaction with the employees.
ConsLong hours

Pertemps ,Gist Crewe,
What a waste of manpower yeh your offered work the they give you 3days work not letting you know when they will not require you just In case they are asked by Gist for extra drivers but really you don't matter to them so long as your waiting in the wings to work or not but if you don't get work Tough! It's all about what Gist want, but you are told you will get plenty of work,RUBBISH. you get what you are given like it or not, but just be sure to hang on in the Hope?

Pertemps crewe (Gist) offer a full week but in reality
Your welcomed into pertemps in Crewe with the offer of plenty of work to keep you going for the week In reality you will be lucky to get 3 days work in, And they do this with all drivers and spread the work out evenly to appease Gist so the driver turnover is constant,As drivers leave because they don't get enough work to feed there families so drivers are welcomed with open arms but are let go so easily owitopen arms the

Office Manager
The co-owner was very old fashion and didnt like change. I did have a great team working with me but the location of the office was not perfect and at the time the area was over run with agencies with the same old faces walking through the door.
Coordinator | Crewe | 28 Aug 2019
Very poor , non -educated
Very poor service, more likely friends or just English people get jobs then person who really cares and had experience in recruitment , personnel non-educated people work there who know the rules to be told by someone instead of having experience.
Order Picker | Crewe | 5 Dec 2013
good place to work but not very good longterm work prospects
a typical day at work is very strenuous and very demanding but if you are a dedicated and hardworker you should have no problems
Proschristmas bonus scheme
Conslong term work
Driver | Crewe | 4 Apr 2018
unaproachable usher you off the phone like your some kind of pest
They take on too many drivers and when you ask why your only getting part time hours they claim that they are spreading the work load although the signing in sheets tell a different story. If you are unable to do a shift for any reason i.e death in the family or illness they will make you pay for it by cutting the shifts thay give you afterwards.
Prosshort runs if thats what you want
Conspertemps staff are petty and dont give enough regular shifts unless you are a favourite
