Very good Recruitment Agency / Satisfactory work assignment
Pertemps were the Recruitment Agent, under them, I completed a temporary assignment with Thames Water. Although brief, the actual assignment went well; the administrative work was quite basic and tended to be quite routine data entry and phone calls mostly, but the office environment was very pleasant and team of staff were a joy to work. Pertemps had well organised on-line systems for payment, expenses and timesheets etc they were easy to contact and responded promptly to any queries.

A really commited work place
•a typical day at work I arrive at our office at around 7am where I deal with outstanding e-mails and write up my reports for the previous day once this is done I plan my work load for the day, most days I would have appointments to attend to, such as site meeting, dealing with quality issues on site, giving instructions both verbally and in writing relating to ongoing works, making sure that targets are being met by our contractors, checking quantities and keeping records, dealing with main and sub contractors, councillors ,leaseholder, residents disputes, picking up emergency calls from the office to attend to during the day. I have learned to be patient when dealing with contractor, residents and the general public. I also deal with communications between our management and the main contractors on day to day basis keeping them up to date on matters affecting the works that should have been attended to from instruction from them. I have a really good working relationship with my co- workers, we communicate well and cover for each other when it is needed we share our experiences. The hardest part of the job is making sure that the contractors carry out the works that they have quoted for and as laid down in the conditions of contract I find that when they can they will take short cuts and this causes problems for the client / customers but mainly for the contractors who have to redo works as laid down in the specification of works. The most enjoyable part of my job is s

Wide and varied.
It has a wide range of roles, be it within Investment Banking or Legal sectors. Importantly, you will always be learning new skills and experiences. Working is also fairly varied with shifts which is down mostly the industries we are providing a service too.
