Productive and friendly staff
I work with a great team within the invoicing section. I am employed by an agency although I have been there for 4 1/2 years. I would like a job with a permanent contract. I work 25 hours per week which is 9.30-2.30 as I am responsible for my grandchildren and take them to and from school.
ProsRelaxed atmosphere and understanding management
ConsAgency contract

Streetworks Agency Work
Helped get me on the streetworks ladder. Learnt all relevant legislation from NRSWA 1991 act through to all Codes of Practices. Raised streetworks notices, and created bespoke MIfor the business.

it was ok
unfortunately this is a minimum wage job and hard work was not rewarded nor was the chance of promised advancement. this seems to be the thing that pertemps does. as a company they seem more interested in turning people into statistics of how many have got into employment rather than how many stay in employment

Friendly
Day to day changing service levels but always very busy, time management on a totally different level, Team Leaders and managers all nice, however 1 or 2 not approachable at all - this being to their workload. Had absolutely fabulous team mates, all very different. Having to reason with a disgruntled customer so late in the stage of process, and then having to tell them that they should have read their correspondence. Being able to talk to many different people on the telephone
ProsFree parking
ConsShort term contract

Enjoyed working for the company
Only lasted a year as it was contract work. Have worked for the company in the past. Met some lovely people there. What I learned there was that it was a face paced environment Typical day at work saw me doing a lot of administrative work. My co-workers were really great to work with. The hardest part of the job was the fact I wasn't doing one thing and the most enjoyable part of the work was feeling valued even though I was only there temporarily. The most enjoyable part of the job was making sure I had got the work done properly and also helping out others when I could
ProsEjoyed working there
ConsOnly lasted a year

Working with the NHS (District Nurses)
Working with the Community (District) Nurses at various Medical Centres. My role was of answering of telephone calls and logging them, updating the rota's monthly. Keeping a recoerd of annual and sick leave taken and setting up Excel files, sending and receiving of E Mails. Be able to retrieve any information from the internet when required. Setting up the filing system for the Personnel Files, also making sure that these files are constantly upgraded also any general admin duties that may be required All of the District Nurses were very friendly and helpful. The hardest part of the Job is: - To remember that all work must be classed as Private & Confidential. The enjoyment of the work is the employers are sastisfied with all the work done.
