The worst agency ever!!
I am Pertemps Employee working for Thames Water. Thames Water is a good company, but unfortunately Pertemps is the worst I have ever worked for! I have never missed a day of work, never was late... working hard and all I get in return is... my payment have been missing 3 times, they are taking your earned holiday hours to cover BANK HOLIDAYS!!, when everyone else is just having they paid off, you are earning half day of holiday per week, which mean you have earn 2 dats holiday a week, which giving you 24, but they will STEAL your 8 days to pay you for BANK HOLIDAYS, so you only entitle to take 16 days holidays in year, which you need to earn first so if you start your job in JANUARY and lets say you want take take a holiday in May, you can only take 6 days off, and after that you have 0 holidays, so you need to start earning them so you cannot take it. Absolutely RUBBISH company , I would probably only recommend for lazy idiots who does not care for job, because if you an ambitious, hard working professional .... please, do not waste your time with this rubbish agency, because you will never be appreciated. Horrible, unprofessional agency!!
ProsQuick service
ConsRobbibg your holidays hours, missing payments

Very productive, productive, professional yet fun working enviroment
A normal day at work would be collecting my headset from my locker, logging into our systems and immediately taking calls. Average around 50 calls a day, up to 150 calls on a busy day, individually. Considering there would be 45 agents including myself. I developed my skills and knowledge a lot whilst i was there, which helped with the job on a daily basis. Most of my co - workers were great. Very happy and always had positive attitudes. All looked out for each other and helped each other out which i thought was really good. Most enjoyable part of the job was looking forward to coming into work because of the friendships made whilst working, learning a lot from my colleagues.

Efficient company
Efficient company and business like. Issues are dealt with promptly. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would work for them again. Holidays are easy and straight forward to arrange. I found them to be professional and have strong links with their clients and a good understanding of the business which they operate on behalf of.

Always helpful when required
I didn't really deal with pertemps too much in my time with them. They got me the interview at the time and I was able to work for my local council because of them. When I wasn't kept on they found me another position very quickly. Their communication was always good.

Stressful Workplace
Would get abused by customers regularly over the phones and team leaders would get angry if you needed toilet breaks. Would refuse to pay overtime if you got stuck on a call past your finish time.

Productive and fun work place
Enjoyed DHL and as a temp we give 1 weeks notice, which should also be given to the temp, if nolonger required. Not after working hours on a Friday night, be told nolonger required, when I haven't had time to arrange for other work for the Monday. Other than that. People are lovely, fast pace and 24 hr bus service

Think they own you
Got offered a temp position as a customer service advisor at a call centre, from the beginning pertemps kept reminding you that you work for them and not the call centre, the call centre and pertemps do not work in harmony, told one thing from the call centre and one thing from pertemps, first wage which was due was not paid and had to wait a further 2 weeks to receive my first wage, called pertemps only to find out they had not sent my details to the call centre for them to approve my timesheets, next issue was sickness, was told by the call centre that they allowed 6 days off Within a 6 month time period before any action would be taken, had 2 days off in my third month of being there, received a call off pertemps stating that they do not accept any sickness and threatening to terminate my contract even though the call centre was very happy with my reasoning for having the days off, pertemps like to believe they own you and whatever company you work for through them do not have any say in your employment, if the manager or the main person at pertemps takes a dislike to you then expect to randomly come into work one day and find out pertemps have emailed your manager and terminated your contract with no notice and an email from pertemps 2 days late stating they are terminating your contract, they are a very unorganised company and very unprofessional, if you are looking for temp or perm work do not use this company as they like to think they own you, never working through t
ProsCompany I actually worked for was nice

Agency in Plymouth uk
I have used this agency on and off for years to look for work. They do have great jobs on offer both temp and perm, they are also organised however the let down is the staff that work there. One in particular the branch manager was rude to me on every occasion I went there. The other staff were ok but seemed to follow her behaviour. I vowed never to use Pertemps again due to the branch manager's awful attitude. Shame really but be warned she can be nasty.
ProsGood jobs available and pay
