Overall reviews at Pertemps Network Group
In general a good agency to work for who are considerate to their temps.
Good well run business. Generally have work on most of the time. Quite good contracts including Royal Mail and Parcelforce.
I have enjoyed working for them on occasion and still work for them to this day.
Professional at all times.
Cannot fault this recruitment agency.
Very good to work for and no request is too much work.
I have no issues with Pertemps and highly recommend them.
I am very thankful for the constant work provided.
ProsConstant help and contact.
Working in the agricultural field, very seasonal, long hours during busy periods.
Management mood depends on what side of bed they get out of.
Work is a mixture of office base, stores based & delivery driver
Different vacancies vacancies available at all sorts of large companies including the Royal Mail, Thames Valley Water, Lyreco Office Stationary, Company is a agency and not brilliant

I worked as an LGV driver for BOC gasses.
The pay was very good but you had to work like a dog for it.
BOC claim to treat their agency staff exactly as their own. This is not the case. We had shifts swapped with BOC drivers, so we had the longest. An 11 hour shift in reality was at least 13. They gave the impression of high standards of health and safety but quickly forgot all of their own guidance when it prevented a job being completed. The just get it done culture is alive and well here.
Pertemps themselves are no better. I was once told to F*** OFF when I challenged something I was told by them. They have no knowledge of Driver's hours or Working time legislation. Their own literature and guidance is incorrect. They make you sign an opt out of the working time rules, an LGV driver cannot opt out.
I have no time for Pertemps and will never work for them again.
ConsPoor management, rude staff and little knowledge of transport legislation.
When I first applied here I explained everything I needed to and was told that it will not be a problem. I started the job and two weeks in I was not to go in work. During the pandemic this is really hard! So I was told finally that the company would let me know. After nearly 2 weeks of no real response and no work I was told: "Yeah you probably wont be needed." This is a disgrace! Keeping me in limbo for so long.
ProsDecent pay on time

Worked for Enfield branch and it's was fine always been correct and honest and very helpful. Top class branch. All jobs were well explained and information correct. Pay on time.
Need to change their attitude
Pertemps need to re-think the way they treat employees in the way that they do not provide any PPE nor do they supply any training such as ADR when it is due
