Overall reviews at Pertemps Network Group
typical day at work
It was good arganise workplace. Managenet teling what is to picking send me for example to concret area with my VNA truck for picking when all pick are done usually I changed truck for reach and diong putaway. all day is something to do.
Fun workplace if still working.
I got a better job, I informed the Agency earlier and left. But when a new job failed and I wanted to go back to K-Nagel Draycote in the Clay, they were offended - Pertemps-Burton. Now you can not get a job in the K-Nagel in Derby because I was laid off - thrown in Burton. That's not true. I left. It's probably not the same ..?
ProsCalmly stress free
ConsMess in the stock
Friendly and helpful environment
Pertemps team are helpful and friendly, they go out there way and beyond to support their clients. To make sure that their job is done safely and within the law.
Typical day is to start early and finish early with a lot of opportunities for over time. The hardest part of the is dealing with the motorway traffic. As the traffic builds up the more time you are on the road. This has its benefits as over time pay will kick in, which will increase wages at the end of the week.
Through Pertemps I have learned a lot in regards to transportation. For example: weight loads, route planning, time schedules, correct documentation, height restrictions and etc.
The best part about the being part of the Pertemps team is knowing that they are their for support you every step of the way.
As a driver
I work 5 days per week about 12 to 14 hours per day .
I drive big track glass 2 and I carry electronic products for
Maplins Shops in and out of London .
ProsLearning the places
ConsBig delays sometimes in the roads
Arrive at the office at 07.30 start the day by doing all the check in's for the drivers, then depending what day it is because if it is a Monday I would have to run Payroll and process the drivers timesheets ready for the drivers to get paid.
After the check in's are done I would ring round other clients to see if they require any drivers if I have any spare drivers about.
Caring and Positive
The jobs are various and interesting, you get good jobs, The pay is reasonable, The office staff are nice and helpful. And they all listen to any concerns you may have. Variety of roles.
ProsThey listen to your opinion.
ConsCould do with reviewing the pay rates each year.
I signed up at my interview and had a job that afternoon . The exeter office are great at keeping in touch and finding you good work . Never a problem with wages . I’ve been working for pertemps for 6 months and have had regular work throughout
Did not have to go in
The work that they found for me was different from day to day and enjoyable , the owners where friendly and helpfull hardest part of job was finding the different work place
I worked for pertemps for awhile, personal information was shared about myself from one of the managers, I escalated this and left nothing was done I would steer clear, the work is ok when you get it, but pay is terrible, would I work for pertemps again? ABSOLUTELY NOT (to any pertemps manager reading I am sure you are aware of who I am maybe dont share personal information next time
