Overall reviews at Pertemps Network Group
try to keep you in work
good company who try to keep you in work as long as you do as you're told and keep turning up. Try their best to provide cover for when people dont turn up for work although a lot of the workers don't have what it takes due to being lazy and we had a big problem with pertemps temps not speaking english.
Personnel was very good, nice and with big culture, probably the best from my experience, Never had problems with payments or possibilities of beeing canceled. So for me - trustworthy
Very nice workplace, nice work mates, good overtime hours, i learned a lot of new stuff, gained a better attitude, new friends, awesome hr staff, had the oportunity to build a strong character.
ProsGood overtime hours
ConsLow request for shifts

No enough hours given
I want more work but being zero hours means I'm employed but I barely work 1 day a week sometimes.
Some days you get very short notice of work the next day.
ProsBetter pay at christmas
ConsSome weeks you have no work. How can you live like that?? Min wage.
A nice place to work.
I worked in picking for a month. That was pulling a pallet and putting items on it, the items were up to 65kg. I then moved on to wrapping pallets. I stacked items on a pallet and then would wrap it with shrink wrap. I then went on to ‘closing labels’, which was using an electronic gun to scan labels. So taking 20 labels and scanning all the information on to one single label.
The employer was nice and would help you if you were having a problem.

My typical day with pertemps would start with a phone call telling me im not longer required to work that night, then another phone call 10 minutes before I would start asking me to go in.

Means to an end. Kept me fit and mind active
Good company to work for although the money doesn't reflect the amount of work that is required. Also certain individuals newly recruited are a little over zealous in their treatment of fellow workers.
ConsLittle or no discretion
