Not worth the pay, but not the worst job due to the people
I loved my job because I got on with the staff and we felt like a family, however there was often childish whispers about one another. We had very rude, snobby customers at times, though staff definitely support you in these situations. Ted Baker does not go up to a very large size instore (UK size 14) and so was often disheartening having to turn away customers who were not even overweight. The overall workplace environment felt like working with your sisters, so oftentimes could get quite catty. The pay isn't worth the workload and most of the time I worked over an hour after my shifts had ended without overtime being paid. My pay was messed up multiple times which was really stressful. You get a huge discount on clothes but was a shame that you still have to pay for the uniform.
ProsFamily environment and huge discount on clothes
ConsForced to stay longer than contracted shift without overtime pay

inspired
when Ted would come in he would be able to put more life in our store by the way he would inspire us and let us know why every piece was create and what inspiration he got it from and why. He always educated on how much time and effort was taken to make each and every piece and also its hand craftmanship.
