Very friendly staff willing to help and show their experience
I worked for Morrisons for close on 20 years and enjoyed it . Unfortunately for me I had to leave for personal reasons and they have stayed in touch with me all the time I have been away .
great pay and great opportunities for those who want to progress into management .
ProsFree parking, staff canteen offering hot and cold food, free tea / coffee, even have an energy station offering free snacks and energy drinks .

Great place
Morrisons is a great place to work,
it's very busy and hard work if your a team manager you will work longs hour's and won't have much of a home life but the pay does make up for it and the team you work with.

Very Fast Paced
Because this is a customer service environment it is very important to meet deadlines and also keep your customers happy which can be very difficult to achieve sometimes (i.e. Christmas, Easter). Can be quite stressful depending on the level of staffing you are at.

Stressful and joyless
If you like being lied to and generally taken for a ride, this is the place for you. Top heavy on useless senior managers that do nothing but get in the way and low on those who are expected to do their bidding. They are ok on diversity.

Spoiled by the takeover of former Tesco Managers
A great, really family feel at first, doing things successfully and differently. They really seemed to care about job satisfaction and pride in the company being different from the other big three supermarkets.
Then came the ex Tesco senior management into senior roles...
Tougher targets, more hours, less benefits, tighter budgets and then finally the redundancies.
