Working for caring homes is a role I truly enjoy and find very rewarding. Every day is different, and I like being the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. My daily responsibilities include answering calls and emails, welcoming visitors, handling administration tasks, and supporting the team where needed.

Through this role, I have learned the importance of patience, compassion, communication, and organisation. It has helped me become more confident and professional, especially when dealing with sensitive situations.

The management team is supportive and approachable, and the workplace culture is friendly, caring, and team-focused. Everyone works together to provide the best care possible for the residents.

The hardest part of the job is dealing with emotional situations involving residents and families. However, the most enjoyable part is building relationships with residents and knowing I can make a positive difference to their day. Overall, it is a fulfilling job that I genuinely love.

Had a horrible experience working here, would not recommend! Too little staff and too many residents to take care of, poor training, moving and handling there is shocking, poor management, too much paperwork, the care the residents receive in the home is not good at all - residents are left all day either sat in their room starring at the same 4 walls or sat in a boring lounge all day everyday, no activities for residents - most of the residents in the home have dementia and people with dementia need stimulating activities for their mental health, yet the home provides none! Staff don’t have time to spend with the residents, staff are so rushed off their feet they don’t have time to provide basic care needs to each resident, some staff are also not very nice and don’t even care. The home is supposed to be ‘residential care’ yet pretty much all the residents are doubles, hoists, assisted feeds and have nursing needs. When short staffed there have been times when 2 carers are expected to look after 17 nursing residents, impossible! No point reporting concerns to the managers as nothing is ever done and you aren’t listened to and they expect you to work all the hours god sends and they change your shifts without even asking. Staff aren’t appreciated at all, and you’re only paid minimum wage. Big changes are needed in this home, but managers don’t want to hear it, would not recommend working here unless you want to come home everyday stressed and on the verge of having a nervous breakdown, and would certainly not recommend putting your loved ones in this home, awful place.

Caring Homes is a good provider of Adult Social Care. But as an employer of the role of CRM they are poor.
There is no typical day. You are dealing with families in crisis at the thought of placing a loved one in care and trying to maximise the number of enquiries you receive in a very busy and full market place. 
The management is invasive. You are micromanaged to within an inch of your life. 7 occupancy calls on average per week, regurgitating information multiple times which spoils other facets of the role and prevents you carrying them out quite frequently.
Workplace culture in general is influenced by this micromanaging mania. 
They employ you for who you are and then want to take away the things that drive you. It is absurd. 
The hardest part of the job is this rigid, unimaginative management. It ruins a day and does not empower an employee in that position. Sadly the company appear blind to it. 
At face value, the hardest part should be the dealing with enquirer's in vulnerable position. Also the most enjoyable part of the job. Finding solutions is satisfying and rewarding but all overshadowed by micromanaging and over reporting. 

A typical day involves supporting patients with personal care, monitoring their well-being, and assisting as team with daily tasks. I’ve learned valuable skills, patience, and how to work calmly under pressure. Management is generally supportive and clear with expectations. The workplace culture is team-focused, compassionate, and centered on patient dignity. The hardest part of the job is handling emotionally challenging situations or seeing patients decline. The most enjoyable part is building trust with patients, making them comfortable, and knowing that my care genuinely improves their day.

I recently got my Sponsorship visa under Caring Homes BroadBridge Park in Horsham. it was an unforgettable experience because from the moment I started my application, the  exceptional recruitment staff went above and beyond to ensure I tick all the right boxes till I got my BRP. Working with Caring Homes BroadBridge Park so far has been an absolute pleasure. Their team of skilled professionals is not only knowledgeable in their field but also dedicated to providing top-notch service and support to the residents of the Care home and visitors. I cannot recommend Caring Homes highly enough for anyone seeking a job and professional development in care because they have an exceptional management. A typical day at work is filled with happiness because all the staff are so nice and smiley and I learn more on best ways to co-relate with every fellow staff to maintain a positive energy in work environment. The hardest part of the job is long hours of walking about doing the job but I signed up for it and it’s not easier anywhere and I enjoy mostly the dining session when everyone gather and the interaction there while serving food is the best part of it all. A typical night shift is ensuring they have a drink and snack if they would like one and making sure they are okay but to also make sure to help them with personal care to ensure they are fresh this is to reduce any sores or discomfort. 

I believe I have learned how to approach and communicate with the residents to ensure they are happy and  if they need any assistance with anything that we ensure to help them but to make sure to note any concerns we may notice . 

Management are helpful and are always there to help if we have any worries,stress or concerns that we can always go to them and talk to them . 

The workplace culture is open,honest,good communication,positive work place and great staff that are willing to help another staff member if they are unsure of anything .

The hardest part of the job can be building connections with the residents sometimes or may even be the end of life care .

The most enjoyable part of the job is making sure the residents are happy and comfortable but also when you start having conversations with the residents which helps them see that they can trust you .

My experience of working at Caring Homes Group is excellent. Every colleague that I have met, regardless of role and location is so helpful and keen to support me in my role here. 
The recruitment process was simple and easy to make contact if I had any queries or concerns.
I received a full induction pack prior to my start date so I knew exactly where I was going and what I was doing not only on my first day, but for my first 6 weeks. 
The senior teams are accessible and will listen to your thoughts and feedback and are wanting to make the company a better place.
I have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of tasks so no two days are the same! 
As a support centre colleague I have had the opportunity to build up a good network of colleagues based in the homes and services and are welcome to visit and meet with the residents and colleagues at any time.
The recognition events that are held, are frequent and they really celebrate your success. Your hard work is recognised in a room with your peers and managers and can be a great way to network with other colleagues within the business.

I am so so so Happy to be working here at Hawkhill House. I have worked in several care homes and really feel this the right place for me. My Manager is very approachable and supportive. She really cares about her staff and residents and really goes the extra mile. Our regional manager is also very supportive and approachable and visits us regularly, She always makes time to speak to the staff and make sure we are all happy. I have been offered several great training opportunities such as courses to attend and I have only been here for 10 months. I am most definitely learning the 'right' way of doing things and I am gaining experience which will benefit me greatly in my career. I was lucky recently to attend an awards ceremony for caring homes staff in which some staff were given awards for excelling at their jobs. It is nice that the company acknowledges those who go above and beyond. Hawkhill House is a great place to work and I think that the job satisfaction felt by the staff shows in the high quality of care that is provided to our residents.

The homes are certainly one of a kind with state of the art technology to ensure quality of life for the residents but also to support the staff to be able to complete paperwork but also to ensure time is spent well with the residents and that is their main focus... THE WELLBEING AND HEALTH OF THOSE WITHIN THEIR CARE!!!
Definatly one of the best homes I have had the honor to work in and surely very excited for what holds in the future!
