My time working with Cut My Plastic was dreadful. I took on the job after being made redundant from my previous job due to Covid-19, in spite of my apprehension after a terrible interview process. I immediately regretted taking the role after seeing how poorly managed the company was, the completely unrealistic expectations demanded of staff, and the overall bad atmosphere that was developed by the upper management of the company, who treated the whole workforce with nothing but disdain and aggression. I ended up having to leave because the mental toll of being talked to like you are sub human everyday was affecting my health.

I would keep away from this company at all cost, as an employee and a customer.  I'm certain that all the good reviews lately have been curated by management to create a false sense of what the company truly is, which would not be out of character from my experience.

Having been with the company a year, I have seen problems ironed out, management improving and processes put in place to allow our day to day operations to run a lot smoother for staff, making it much more enjoyable. There is plenty of opportunity for growth within the company, in your current role and potential future roles, it is an exciting place to work if you're hungry and want to get stuck in. The workplace culture is constantly improving and as staff, there has been a massive shift in how much we are valued now we are no longer a small start up - responsibility is being taken and it's great to be a part of it. I have no doubt I will be enjoying more of a future here and as a company wide team, I know many other people are of the same mindset. 

I picked up loads about teamwork, communication, and managing my time. The managers are approachable and generally supportive if you need help, and the culture is friendly and down to earth.

The hardest part is keeping up when it gets really busy, especially around deadlines, but it does make the days go quickly. The best part is the people — everyone pulls together and there’s a good sense of humour in the team.

No job security as everyone employed on the whim of the managing director. You can go from hero to zero overnight and be sacked on the spot whatever level you are employed at.
Employees are sworn at in front of colleagues, you aren’t judged on your work but on your personality, no training, no COVID awareness. Customers are lied to.it really impacts your self esteem and mental health.
The management team, including the husband and wife who own the company, behave in a Jekyll and Hyde way and decisions on your employment change without warning.

A nice place to work with friendly and helpful colleagues. Training is primarily on the job and I’ve found the supervisor’s and mangers are always happy to help and answer questions and seem to have a genuine interest in improving, growing the company, and finding new ways of doing things that are better for everyone involved, staff and customers alike. 
This is a growing company and improvements are happening all the time. 


The company is being run into the ground and they are taking the staff with them. They have no structure, won’t pay fairly, unless you’re overly friendly with the management don’t expect to get anywhere or move up, please avoid at all costs. They will refuse to give you certificates you’ve earned whilst there, and gaslight you into thinking they’re doing you favours when you ask for simple things. Also they’ve gone into liquidation. Be aware.

Unorganised and too focused on quantity rather than quality, bosses are bullies and everyone is out for themselves. High turnover, poor training, poor worker welfare. Unless completely desperate, do not apply, you will be miserable.



The worst place I have ever worked. The bosses are bullies and most of the staff are horrible. 

The customers are treated poorly and the logistics they use are very bad. The material is stored poorly and the turn over of staff is immense 

Be carful here.. 



i only worked here three weeks in november 2020 it was a terrible experience. you work in a very cold place because the manager has to smoke just outside and has to check you never closes the door. the place has no security. I had to wait 2 months to get my money.

Good place to work and friendly work colleagues. Management is understanding and willing to listen to your points of view. Varied work areas and training given.
