Incredibly fragmented management system led by wholly incompetent personnel pushing workers to carry out tasks not covered by contractual obligations and questionable grasp of how the processes even work in the first place. Work done is safety critical despite contrary direction from absent management (remote working for a role that is completely unsuitable for the purpose under the paper thin pretence of covid safety despite working in an isolated office).
Complete lack of any basic human compassion from a human resource department largely devoid of any actual relevant qualifications or experience, high degree of in-house nepotism at play to the extent that certain safety short falls have been largely swept under the carpet by management due to individuals involved being family members.
Overall a place of work that many colleagues have shown great disdain at the company in general and one I would never darken the door of again.

At present I am involved in implementing Possession Management on behalf of Network Rail in the Wessex region which spans from Exeter to London and up to the M4 corridor.  My duties include:

Site Operational Manager. Site audits, briefings and ensuring staff are carrying out their duties to the correct rules and procedures
Implementing basic and complex Possessions with multiple train movements as a Senior Person in Charge of Possession (SPICOP). 
Taking the isolation of the 3rd rail from the ECO (Level A,Procedure A).
Carrying out Safety Critical Assessments on competent protection staff.

I have been involved on the railway for the past 17 years, starting on the shovel working with the Permanent Way. Over the years I have gained experience in many different aspects of railway procedures. I have achieved this through my own personal development and having the good fortune of working with old "railwayman" which some has since retired.

With two years experience of this company from the day they took over the contract they managed to achieve very little for the workforce and only did their masters dirty work.

I will never work for them again. In the end I rightly trusted no one and got no reward for all the effort I put into establishing and developing the specialised knowledge and skills of my position with this company or their Ex-REME masters. I was rewarded with redundancy at the base rate. Ten years in post for nothing.

My co-workers were mostly ex REME, they may stand together to protect themselves, but they had no intention of helping or cooperating with anyone who was not one of them. Do not work with ex-army types if you were not one of them.

Getting justice and fair play for those aggrieved staff. This made others in similar positions open to accusations and threats.

Getting out of the workplace and doing my job with the customers.

On a daily basis, I would test units to ensure a high quality of production to satisfy the needs of our customers. I have learnt many things during my time at this company such as using different software and learning valuable computer skills, as well as realising the importance of providing high quality products. This was a relatively managing-free job meaning that I was left to do my job freely, which taught me to manage my time effectively and become a reliable worker. Spending time with co-workers was an enjoyable experience at this company. I believe that being in a healthy working environment is important and maintaining a good relationship with fellow workers is a big part of this. The hardest part of the job was managing my time effectively. There were many units to be tested and I had to ensure that all orders were completed in the period of time given. I enjoyed working as part of the large company with a team of respectable managers. The working hours suited me as I could easily fit my schedule around work.

You are pushed to complete work quickly regardless of health and safety, PWT’s are rude and treat you like a kid even your considerably older than them which is degrading, Management always take the side of PWT/Handback regardless of situation and don’t follow up on reports when something has happened on track, Some operatives are treated worst than other by certain PWT’s (If you know what I mean then you know) 
Communication is terrible by most PWT’s they lack communication skills and need better people skills- A lot of them lack proper training. Best part of the job is you don’t work really long hours (unless you over run) Also if there is a strike or if you can’t get onto track or if you get injured on site or if you want time off you don’t get paid so basically if you don’t work for whatever reason possible then you don’t get paid.

Work was challenging and varied. I was given the opportunity to progress to team inspector with responsibilities to over-sign the works of the team operators I was responsible for.  I was responsible for re-viewing the snags found by the operatives and logging them onto the computer system.
The hardest part of the job was logging the many snags onto the system that were found late on during the inspection phase before the aircraft moved location.
The most enjoyable part of the job was working with a great group of people, some from my Forces past. Hands on work challenges, and working to deadlines was enjoyable.
Incorporating new systems and upgrades to maintain the viability of the Aircraft was most satisfying.
Testing the work you had done and seeing the aircraft progress through to a satisfactory air test was ultimately fulfilling.

A typical day at Morson International would be a busy environment due to the number of calls coming in on a daily basis. I learned to help customers with problems more quickly but professionally and correctly. This is because the amount of calls you have waiting in a queue and at Morson we tried our best to not lose any calls or customers. There were many colleagues that you would get along with and made it a pleasant environment to be in, although at times it caused stress and sometimes felt like an uneasy environment. The hardest park of the job would be to ensure that you were to remain calm, relaxed and professional even when customers could potentially be shouting down the phone. The most enjoyable part of the job would be the people you meet and the languages you can learn and get a more understanding of.

Absolute disgrace to work for, no support whatsoever, never even answer the telephones, or reply to emails unless it’s beneficial to them, or they want you for something. No duty of care towards employees, and a disgraceful attitude when help and support is required. 
I have personally been at home from work since early January, due to my mother being in hospital seriously ill, and instead of supporting me through these troubling times, they’ve decided to terminate my contract instead. I am very over qualified for the position I was working in, and find that Morson will always struggle to obtain good people due to the attitude they have. Overall disgusted. 

I enjoyed working in the Aviation industry in two Jobs for Morson International with Aircraft parts and Aircraft work. Working on shifts sadly these jobs were just Temporary. I worked as part of a team in both of these positions I had at Prestwick. I worked as a Grade B sealer on the A350 aircraft parts. Then I restarted again after being paid off as a Logistics Controller which involved checking Aircraft parts and checking paper work relating to the parts .This was a warehouse job which also involved unloading lorries delivering parts using the forklift. I found this was a good place to work and a good salary and was always available to do any overtime that was required

I really didn't enjoy working here due to the people. If you weren't in with a clique then you're pretty much screwed. You'll get up to go the toilet and they will be talking about you until you sit back down. 

I was made to feel quite uncomfortable at a works do when my MANAGER and a colleague rolled their eyes every time I spoke and felt like I was back in school again with the bitchiness for no reason. 

The pay is terrible and unfair as somebody doing the same job as you could be on up to £5,000 more than you just because the manager felt like it. 

Favouritism is very common in this place too. 

However there is a free gym on site, good exercise classes and nice facilities.
