To all stay away from this agency as mislead you from day one.
You apply for a position then it changes.
Recruitment agency management disorganised never available change your shift with out notice.
They blame the clients who are very good and really should employ them selves as this agency are bad for there company.
Account managers on site for the agency are so unprofessional and have little experience and have no people management.
Rota system not weekly which will start that way then changes late at night that day which could leave you with no shift.
Agency office never answer phone line and even the emergency contact line.
When you if don’t listen to this review go and work for them you will see how you have wasted your time with such an absolute disorganised, all over the place agency nightmare.
Be aware the role you apply for will not be what you do and the shift so will not fit your needs .
Overall advice be careful and whey up your options.

Was recruited as an VNA/Reach/CB operator and spent everyday walking about picking with a llop. Romanian lads were given the jobs I was recruited for everyday. Everyone speaks in Romanian so basically spent each day in silence being given the worst things to do. If I stop and say hello to someone I would immediately be told to stop talking while all around me there are people standing around chatting in another language who are free to do so. Toilets were constantly blocked  and seats broken by people standing on them to do a number 2. Faeces on the floor and seats was a daily thing and management don't care as they have their own loo upstairs. No outdoor ppe offered, expected to climb in to the skip in the rain and fill it with rubbish. Canteen was a vending machine, 1 small waist high fridge for an entire warehouse to put their lunch in which was always full and never cleaned. I was fired by text message from a person who can't speak or spell in English because I was ill and my doctor said I needed a few days off to recover. If you love being treated like your worthless by immigrants then I suggest you get a job here.

I work as a recycling picker. Shifts are 4 on 4 off and 12 hours. Job is straightforward its just sorting recyclable waste materials off a conveyer belt and putting into chutes below. Each shift you will be assigned a specific material or maybe two to pick out. Waster materials are supposed to be dry recyclables such as paper, plastic, cardboard etc but be warned there is also dirty waste such as nappies, food waste and needles in the recycling. You just have to be vigilant.They are big on health and safety. They'll supply you with a uniform. As a picker I have to wear high vis top and bottoms, long sleeved gloves, hard hat, glassed and ear plugs. Probably a bit OTT but that's the world now. The work is very fast paced and its quite frequent the supervisors count each pickers pick rate. If your pick rate is good they leave you alone but if you drop below they will make it awkward for you. Can be a bit boring at times but work with a good bunch of lads we have a laugh so cant really fault it. Lots of hours.

- I have worked as a supervisor within Twickenham stadium with catering agencies and have recently been recruited by the stadium to supervise all major Rugby games. I supervise between 20-25 members of staff within 9 corporate and family owned executive suite boxes. I have worked on the 6 Nations Rugby Tournament and will be working on the upcoming Rugby World cup. This position has been my most challenging yet but also the most rewarding. I am a perfectionist when it comes to customer service so expect a high level of standards from the staff working with me but always aim to be fair and reasonable with them in order to make their shift enjoyable for both the staff and customer. I have dealt with many issues between staff and from customers. However, despite any issues that have arisen as a unit our team has dealt with them effectively- resulting in our boxes scoring a 98% satisfaction rate - higher than the average of the whole stadium and an improvement from the last few years tournaments within my specific boxes.

I'm working for this company quite a long time. I can say that on the beginning was quite difficult. From couple of years my situation changed and I have the most wonderful boss in the world. 
We need to remember that company is made by people and those with whom you are working. They actions will define the way you talk about your employer.
I'm happy to be part of current team. I work with very friendly people, always happy to help. 
Environment is very busy and dynamic, but this is making it a very interesting. Company is providing full training on beginning and range of  courses to improve workers skills. They also give opportunities for growth.


Overall it's the worst management solution I have ever seen, infact if there is a half-star rating I will give a half-star rating. HR does not even manage the 30 people's rota for the everyday shift pattern, they only required only 30 peoples for every day instead of books 51 . and after attending and working for 1hr they will send them home and says they are fully booked for today to go home. and they do not even pay for that 1 hr. The HR and management only support their own people, shows partiality, and plays with people's life. A small 10 years kid can schedule the shift patterns and rotas far better than this recruitment team.
I wonder if this recruitment team really knows the meaning of HR.


As I was working with the agency you will be told around midday if you were needed the next day, the job title when I applied said temp to perm, you started working a full week the first week then the work started slowing down two or three days a week,  then bank holidays when you can make some money was offered to full time workers only, start time was great the job itself was perfect, the part of the job I did not like is the full time staff get paid for more hours than the agency plus if you was a loader for the day although the job title was driver loader you will get a reduce hourly rate, the best part is when you finish your round you go home and get paid your set hours,

I started as a temp worker with Smart Solutions over a decade ago. The last 6 years I have been fully contracted in 3 different positions within the company. I have learnt things with smart solutions that help me with my everyday life. The management team are always approachable, polite and will help with any problems that I have faced along the way. The long shifts can sometimes be physically fatiguing but the shift patterns that smart solutions offer help you get more than enough rest time between shifts. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with my current team and hitting the targets set for us. 

Been with this agency since the start of this year, i really recommend them,I got a job the minute I signed up with the agency, as a temp and have returned several times, 

There’s not much reception jobs available and that’s the only con, pay is after every Friday (2 weeks) and always got paid on time.

I did most of my communication direct with the company I worked for via the agency to double check times as sonetimes smart solutions were last minute getting back to me with the dates & times 

But other than that you will get a job.

The job itself isn't that bad picking from a conveyor belt but your expected to pick everything not just one or 2 specific items like you initially get told also only get 2 15 min breaks which by the time you walked down to the break room and back means you only got about 10. Progression is practically none existant even tho again it was said the is lots of opportunities available.maximum effort minimum pay not really worth the time.management don't care about you what so ever as your recruitment agency. very outdated clock in and out system. Will doc pay if you leave early by few mins but won't pay if you arrive early or leave later.
