Summary
We are seeking a Yard Operative to join our team in Hilltown & Clough, Co Down. This vital role involves supporting our operational activities and ensuring efficient handling of goods and equipment. Join us and contribute to the ongoing success of our growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with collecting and loading agri materials and other products.
- Receive, unload, check, and store deliveries accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard at all times.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
- Pick and prepare customer orders for collection and delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock counts.
- Ensure products are stored correctly and securely.
- Support drivers with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and product assistance when required.
- Work closely with store and warehouse colleagues to ensure efficient operations.
Essential Requirements
- 3 years previous experience in an agri yard or builders yard
- Farming knowledge/background (essential)
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance/telehandler).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Hours of work
- Mon - Friday 8am - 5.30pm
- Every other Saturday 8am - 1pm
