We're looking for an Assistant Planner to join our Scottish regional construction team based in Glasgow.
Location: Glasgow
Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As an Assistant Planner, you'll play a vital role in supporting our project delivery teams across Scotland. Working closely with the Senior Planner, you'll help ensure construction projects run smoothly by creating and maintaining high-quality programmes. This is a great opportunity to develop your planning expertise whilst contributing to meaningful construction projects that make a real difference to communities.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Assistant Planner, you'll be working within the Scottish regional construction team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:
- Creating look ahead programmes and individual trade package programmes
- Monitoring and updating project progress with regular progress tracking
- Supporting project teams to develop their technical software skills
- Advising on the impact of project delays and updating programmes accordingly
- Working closely with project teams to produce accurate progress reports
What are we looking for?
This role of Assistant Planner is great for you if:
- You're comfortable using planning software such as Asta, Primavera or Microsoft Project
- You have some experience in planning, site management or engineering within a construction environment
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating across different teams
- You're highly organised with a keen eye for detail and can work effectively to deadlines
- You hold a relevant construction or engineering qualification (HND Level minimum) and a Full driving licence
