Overview
We are a busy kitchen cabinet manufacturer based in Rochdale looking for an experienced detail-oriented Quality Control & Dispatch Operative to join our team. The role is heavily focused on ensuring all products meet our quality standards before being accurately prepared and dispatched to customers.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working within the kitchen industry.
Duties
Carry out quality checks on finished kitchen cabinets before dispatch.
Check products for damage, defect, missing components, and manufacturing errors.
Maintain accurate records of quality issues and report defects to production management.
Check sales orders against products to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Carefully wrap and protect cabinets ready for transport.
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Work closely with colleagues to meet dispatch schedules.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in quality control and dispatch is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects.
Ability to read and check sales orders accurately.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
