Key Requirements (Essential)
- Care Experience: Minimum 1 year’s experience working in the care sector.
- Rota Experience: Previous experience coordinating staff rotas is highly preferred.
- Systems: Experience using CarePlanner and/or Nourish is preferred.
- Organisation: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Communication: Strong written and spoken English with confident communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to respond to staff and service-user requirements, including occasional out-of-hours issues.
The Role
Join our growing team as a Rota Coordinator, helping to ensure our care services are safely and efficiently staffed.
You will coordinate staff rotas, respond to changes, communicate with care staff and ensure service users receive consistent, reliable support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain staff rotas.
- Arrange cover for sickness, holidays and unexpected absences.
- Communicate with care staff and management.
- Monitor staffing levels and identify gaps.
- Use care management systems such as CarePlanner/Nourish.
- Maintain accurate records and support smooth day-to-day operations.
