Civils Gang Required – Portsmouth
We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Gang for a long-term infrastructure project based near Portsmouth.
We are looking to take on a gang of 3 or 4 operatives, depending on experience and tickets held.
Gang Requirements:
- 1 x Ganger (SSSTS preferred)
- 1 x Excavator Operator
- 1–2 x Skilled Operatives (with Dumper and Roller tickets)
- 1 x Operative must hold Slinger/Signaller & Banksman tickets
Essential Tickets & Experience:
- Valid CSCS cards
- CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) for plant operators
- Dumper & Roller tickets (minimum one operative)
- Slinger/Signaller & Banksman (minimum one operative)
- Proven experience working on civil engineering projects
- Ability to work efficiently as a team and maintain high safety standards
Scope of Works (Typical Duties May Include):
- Drainage and ducting installation
- Excavation and reinstatement
- Deep and shallow services
- Working around live utilities
- Concrete works and associated civils tasks
- Safe lifting operations and plant coordination
