About the Role:
Astraframe is looking for a upvc window and door fabricator to join our production team. You will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality uPVC windows, doors, and related products, ensuring precision and efficiency at every stage. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company with consistent, long-term work.
This role also includes completing local deliveries, so a full, clean UK driving licence is essential. Additionally, for the right candidate, we are happy to provide a full forklift licence training to assist with our loading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricating uPVC windows and doors to company standards.
- Operating factory machinery and assembly tools safely and effectively.
- Measuring and assembling components with high accuracy.
- Quality-checking finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Collaborating with the team to meet daily production targets.
- Following all health and safety regulations within the factory.
- Making local deliveries to our trade and DIY customers.
Requirements:
- Experience in UPVC manufacturing is required.
- Experience with assembly, fabrication, and the use of specialized tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude.
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift and handle materials and stand for extended periods.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- Experience driving a forklift preferred.
