We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our growing dental team at Smiles 4 Ever in Prestwood.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in dental nursing, gain hands-on experience and work towards a recognised dental nursing qualification.
The Role
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work alongside our experienced dentists and dental nurses, supporting the clinical team and helping to provide an excellent patient experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting dentists during dental treatments
- Preparing surgeries before and after appointments
- Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments
- Maintaining high standards of cross-infection control
- Preparing dental materials and equipment
- Supporting patients and helping them feel comfortable
- Assisting with stock control and surgery organisation
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Following practice policies, procedures and health & safety requirements
- Working as part of a friendly and professional dental team
What We Are Looking For
You do not need previous dental experience to apply. We are particularly interested in candidates who are:

- Friendly and confident when dealing with patients
- Well organised and able to follow instructions
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Professional in appearance and communication
- Willing to undertake dental nursing training and qualifications
- Committed to developing a long-term career in dentistry
Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality, customer service or another patient-facing role would be advantageous but is not essential.
