Unity is looking for a reliable and professional Minibus Driver to join our School Transport Service team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and is committed to providing safe and dependable transport. You will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from school during term time, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
Working Hours
Term Time Only
Monday to Friday:
- Morning: 7:00am – 9:00am
- Afternoon: 2:15pm – 5:15pm
Additional hours may be available by agreement to support our wider transport services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely transport children and young people on scheduled school routes.
- Conduct vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
- Maintain accurate records as required.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and transport procedures.
- Represent Unity in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement.
- Clean driving licence.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) Certificate.
Don't have a MIDAS Certificate? No problem. Full training, including MIDAS training, will be provided where required.
