Job Title: Activity Leader, Summer Roster
Main Location: Upton Meadows, NN5
Pay: ranging from 12.50 - 14.50 per hour, dependent on age and experience. This is the all-in rate, including holiday pay, and may also include additional bonuses.
Shift Requirements: 10 AM to 3:30 PM (5.5 hours)
Woodys Out of School Club continues to build the summer staff roster. We are not a traditional childcare facility, we are a high spec activity provider. We run elite sports, Go Karts, Drone Fleets, Robot Races, and technical construction zones. We are seeking energetic, tech savvy Activity Leaders to join our ongoing pipeline for Summer 2026 and all future school holidays.
This is a high energy role where you are expected to engage, lead and get involved in activities.
What We Offer

The Role
- You are managing group dynamics and station transitions, not 1 to 1 play
- Running specific activity stations like the Drone Zone or Lego Studio
- Ensuring safety and calm transitions between high energy sessions
- Assisting the Site Manager with digital data logging and equipment setup
Requirements
- Command of the room, you must manage groups of 10 to 15 children independently
- 100 percent punctuality is a strict contractual mandate
- You must be 18 or older to comply with Ofsted independent supervision regulations
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is highly preferred for rapid onboarding

- Do you hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the Update Service, OR a certificate issued within the last 12 months? We sponsor DBS but strongly prefer one in place, depending on which period you are applying for.
- Are you 18+ years old? Must be 18+ as per Ofsted regulation to be allowed to manage children independently.
- Do you have reliable transport to Upton Meadows Primary School (NN5) for the hours you're meant to work? (start times range from 7:30 to 9 AM for example).
- Have you ever ghosted a job without notice? Have you ever agreed to an interview and ghosted? How punctual are you to work commitments?
- We are an Ofsted-registered provider and maintain strict recruitment audits. Do you understand that we track interview attendance and may be required to confirm participation with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) or other regulatory bodies?

Licence/Certification:
