Are you passionate about helping people, strengthening communities and creating neighbourhoods where people are proud to live
St Leger Homes is looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and customer-focused Housing Officer to join our South Area Housing Management Team. This is more than just a housing role – it's an opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our customers and the communities we serve every day
No two days are the same. One day you could be supporting a tenant to sustain their tenancy, the next you could be working with partner agencies to tackle low to medium anti-social behaviour or resolving tenancy breaches
As a Housing Officer, you'll be at the heart of our communities, delivering a comprehensive tenancy and estate management service that helps residents thrive and neighbourhood’s flourish.
-
Supporting tenants and helping them sustain successful tenancies.
- Investigating and resolving breaches of tenancy conditions and anti-social behaviour.
- Carrying out home visits, estate inspections and communal area checks.
- Working closely with residents, local communities and partner agencies.
- Identifying opportunities to improve neighbourhoods and community wellbeing.
- Maintaining accurate records and managing cases effectively.
- Being a visible and approachable presence within the communities you serve.
We're seeking someone who combines professional knowledge with a genuine passion for helping people.
You'll have:
✅ Knowledge of housing and estate management.
✅ Understanding of housing legislation, tenancy management and enforcement processes.
✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
✅ The confidence to deal professionally with challenging situations.
✅ Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
✅ Experience using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
✅ A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
At St Leger Homes, we're committed to creating safe, sustainable and thriving communities across Doncaster. We value our people and recognise the difference they make every day.
In return, you'll join a supportive team where your contribution is valued, your development is encouraged, and your work has a genuine impact on customers' lives.
If you're looking for a rewarding role where you can support residents, improve neighbourhoods and help shape stronger communities, we'd love to hear from you.
Interviews will be held on 20th August 2026.
