We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior ABA Therapist to join our team! If you’re passionate about delivering values driven behaviour and education programs, this could be the role for you! All programs have behaviour analysis at the core, as well as a strong PBS framework, Verbal Behaviour Approach, and incorporate education research, parenting research, attachment theory and trauma informed care.

We are looking for a Senior ABA Therapist (minimum 4 years experience delivering ABA under BCBA supervision) to join our team to be starting in September in MK42. You must be reliable, punctual, enthusiastic and open to developing a person-centred approach. We are able to pay £22-£30/hour dependent on experience.
Main duties:
- You will work initially with one client in MK42, 3-4 sessions after school per week, with each session being approximately 2 hours. The client has requested 4-6pm.
- Once agreed between yourself and the clients, hours will be delivered on a weekly basis, with 30 days notice required for changes, both from clients and yourself.
- Attendance will be required at monthly workshops.
- You will run therapy alone, in the client’s home, using initiative and, keeping resources organised, under the guidance of a Behavioural Consultant.
- Sessions are play based, child led and incorporate a lot of natural environment teaching
- You may also encounter and be required to manage challenging behaviours, including biting, spitting, scratching, etc, supported by guidance from the Consultant.
- You will work closely with parents and supervisor.
- Following standard safeguarding procedure and reporting any concerns whilst you are working
- You will receive regular support and training from the Supervisor and Consultant (BCBA/UKBA supervision can be included in this role), including a monthly 1-1 to support you and your professional development.
- Additional training sessions are periodically run by Leapfrog which are free for you to attend, e.g. Basic Communications Training, Professional Boundaries, PBS, etc.
Essential:
You must have previous SEN experience working with children
You must be open to learning new approaches and procedures
You must be reliable and committed
You must have excellent communication skills
You must have right to work in the UK and be able to be self-employed
You must have previous experience in VB-ABA/PBS
You must have a clean Enhanced DBS check or be willing to get one
You must have business insurance for your car, if you are intending to use your own vehicle to drive to clients
You must have insurance for behavioural therapy or be willing to acquire it
Desirable:
You may have availability to work with additional children in future
You may have previous experience with PBS
You must have use of a car, for ease of getting to clients
