The Role
We're looking for a hardworking, reliable, and proactive Labourer / General Operative to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, uses their initiative, and enjoys being part of a team that delivers high-quality restoration and construction projects. You'll support skilled tradespeople, help keep sites running efficiently, and play an important role in maintaining high standards across every project.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day site activities
- Preparing work areas and maintaining clean, organised workspaces
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment
- Carrying out demolition, strip-out, clearance, and waste removal works
- Supporting fire, flood, and escape of water reinstatement projects
- Protecting clients' homes and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Taking initiative and identifying tasks that need attention
- Assisting with deliveries, collections, and site logistics
- Working professionally and respectfully in occupied residential properties
What You'll Need
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in construction or a similar hands-on role
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Good understanding of construction site safety and working practices
- Physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual work
- A full UK driving licence
- Your own reliable transport, this is essential
- Fluent English communication skills
- Willingness to travel across Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and surrounding areas
- CSCS card preferred

Good to Know
- Candidates based in or near Horley (RH6) are preferred
- Travel across Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and the wider Home Counties is required
- Occasional Saturday working may be required
- This role involves working in occupied residential and commercial properties, so professionalism and good communication are essential
