Job Description
P J Kerley Recovery is seeking an experienced Roadside Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team.
This is a skilled position requiring prior mechanical experience and the ability to diagnose and safely rectify vehicle faults at the roadside. The successful candidate will attend breakdowns, carry out roadside repairs where possible, and provide professional assistance to customers while working independently.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic is essential.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge of cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Ability to carry out roadside fault diagnosis, battery replacements, wheel changes, jump starts and minor roadside repairs.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work unsupervised, use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
